Hurricane Melissa
Jamaica Relief Drive
Essex County Mocha Moms and Rockland County Mocha Moms are joining forces to support families in Jamaica who were devastated by Hurricane Melissa, a historic Category 5 storm that struck on October 28th with winds reaching 185 mph. This was the most powerful hurricane to impact the island in the last century, leaving widespread destruction and displacing countless families. We have successfully sent a container filled with clothing items, essential hygiene products and household products.

Maternal & Child Health Seminar
Essex County Mocha Moms hosted a Maternal & Child Health Seminar in Partnership with Maternal Health of Northern New Jersey.
Speakers Included:
@perinatal_equity focuses on birth and advocacy education as well as providing resources for a smooth and confident transition into motherhood whether it be for the first time or for mamas of multiple children

@creole_jerseygirl a Doula who is NBDA certified, focuses on advocacy, doula training and birth education.

Hygiene Kits for the Elderly
Essex County Mochas Partnered with San Fernando Valley Mochas to provide hygiene kits for people in need.

MLK WALK
Essex County Mocha Moms walked for a cause January 2026. As the top contributor for this years Jersey Cares MLK Walk, EC Mochas raised over $200.

OH BABY
Essex County Mocha Moms alongside Middlesex Mocha Moms joined forces to provide newborn baby supplies to Partnership for Maternal Health of Northern New Jersey.
